A developer promises version two on Tuesday, again. So he takes the man who pays for the servers up to the roof, into a shuttle, and down onto the planet itself. Everything you see was generated shot by shot, then cut, scored and mixed like a film.
Act 1–3
Coffee, servers, Tuesday
The coffee went cold ten minutes ago, one of the four servers died at four in the morning, and the release date is Tuesday. It was Tuesday last week too.
Act 4
The thing on the roof
“That’s not a server, that’s the release build.” No pilots, no licence, an autopilot and a wormhole.
Act 5
Version two, live
PlanetX Alpha itself: low gravity, a golden emperor, banks and an arsenal, a war run from the cabin window, and one very bad idea involving a warhead.

Back to Tuesday
An alarm clock, cold coffee again, a streetcar that nearly ends it, then the demo everyone asks for and a release date that has not moved.
